Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mathew Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Hutcherson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mathew Bell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Hutcherson! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Bell. Bell looks up at the clock and then as Hutcherson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bell smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Hutcherson is pushing Bell's head away, looking to escape. Bell manages to hold on to the position though. Bell has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Bell drives through with a takedown into guard. Bell sitting in guard, not really doing much. Bell stands and steps away. Hutcherson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Hutcherson throws the left hand but Bell avoids the punch easily. Bell changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hutcherson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Hutcherson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hutcherson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bell is controlling him well. Bell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hutcherson dodges the ground and pound from Bell. Hutcherson is trying to escape and get back to his feet. An elbow from Bell crashes against the mat.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hutcherson throws a head kick but Bell moves out of range.
Hutcherson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bell. Bell closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hutcherson to the mat! Hutcherson manages to get full guard. Bell not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Bell has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Bell is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hutcherson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bell is controlling him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bell trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bell prevents Hutcherson from getting back to his feet. Bell drops back looking for a leg! Hutcherson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hutcherson manages to kick Bell off! Bell jumps back into Hutcherson's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hutcherson fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hutcherson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bell paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hutcherson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hutcherson throws a series of punches but Bell moves out of range. Hutcherson throws a shot from downtown. Bell moves away and avoids it. Hutcherson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bell sees it coming and avoids it easily. Some wild striking there from Hutcherson.
Hutcherson tries to clinch up. Jack Hutcherson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bell checks the leg kick. Hutcherson throws a head kick that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bell prevents Hutcherson from getting back to his feet. Bell works a leg free and moves into half guard. Bell prevents Hutcherson from standing back up.
Bell seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Hutcherson pushes Bell off looking to stand but Bell dives back in and keeps control.
Bell performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Hutcherson is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mathew Bell dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Hutcherson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bell circles away quickly and effectively. Hutcherson tests Bell's chin there with a solid looking shot. Hutcherson fails in his attempt to clinch. Hutcherson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bell shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hutcherson napping and manages to drive through into side control! Hutcherson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bell asserts his dominance and retains side control. Hutcherson is being controlled here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hutcherson keeps working. Bell decides to stand back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hutcherson lands the left hand. Bell uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hutcherson. Hutcherson throws a chopping leg kick but Bell manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Hutcherson misses with a series of wild punches.
Bell slips under a jab. Hutcherson fails in his attempt to clinch. Hutcherson throws a right and a left that both miss. Hutcherson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bell paws at him with a jab and circles away. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hutcherson, as that shot connected.
Hutcherson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hutcherson tries to clinch there but Bell circles away.
Mathew Bell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bell is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bell takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Hutcherson throws a head kick that misses. Hutcherson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hutcherson tries to clinch up but Bell circles away and keeps his distance. Bell drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bell creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hutcherson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Bell prevents Hutcherson from escaping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Hutcherson's face as Bell controls the position. Bell tries for a kimura but Hutcherson is defending well. Bell stands up and we're back to a striking position. The fight stays on the outside here - Hutcherson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hutcherson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Hutcherson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bell closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bell not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bell is trying to control. Hutcherson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Hutcherson is looking to escape. Bell content to control rather than advance. Hutcherson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bell. Bell seems to be looking for submissions.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Bell takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Bell on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Hutcherson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Hutcherson throws out a loose jab but Bell uses good head movement to avoid it. Bell uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hutcherson. Hutcherson throws a hook to the side of Bell's head but Bell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hutcherson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Hutcherson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bell controls the pace. Bell trying to control but Hutcherson is working from the bottom. Bell in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bell stops Hutcherson from standing up. Bell wants to control from the top but Hutcherson keeps moving. Bell won't allow Hutcherson to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hutcherson is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hutcherson is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bell connects with a decent elbow. Bell moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A nice inside leg kick there by Hutcherson. That's going to slow Bell down. Jack Hutcherson seems to be getting the better of the standup. Hutcherson wants to clinch up but Bell keeps it at a distance. Bell blocks a head kick by Hutcherson.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bell decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Hutcherson is looking to escape. Bell looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bell slows the pace down in half guard. Bell is trying to control. Hutcherson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Bell is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Hutcherson wants to get back to his feet but Bell is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bell controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
