Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Timmothy McNutt!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gusmao lands a nice shot that snaps McNutt's head back.
Gusmao scores with a nice head shot.
It looks like Timmothy McNutt has been cut.
McNutt defending well as Gusmao loads up on a big left hand.
McNutt closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gusmao did well to prevent McNutt getting side control.
Gusmao is not content to let McNutt control the position.
Gusmao moves into full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Gusmao looking for a sweep. Not yet Gusmao, not yet.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
McNutt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gusmao. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
McNutt trying to control the position from guard on top but Gusmao is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gusmao lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for McNutt!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gusmao is landing with some decent strikes but McNutt is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Gusmao misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

That has opened up Timmothy McNutt's cut even more.
McNutt tries to reverse the position but Gusmao maintains control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gusmao lands a heavy elbow.
Timmothy McNutt's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Timmothy McNutt's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Luiz Gusmao!
