Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between mj bergs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Whitefield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dan Whitefield told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bergs fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Whitefield avoids it really well and circles away.
Whitefield misses with a takedown attempt
and bergs makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
bergs is looking to clinch but Whitefield is avoiding it.
Whitefield tries to score a power double leg takedown but bergs sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Whitefield somewhat.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to mj bergs.
Well bergs has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
