Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Uriel Black! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tibor Karazhan! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karazhan tries to score with a low kick but Black moves his leg out of the way. Karazhan tries to score with a low kick but Black moves his leg out of the way. Black dodges the punch combination from Karazhan.
Karazhan is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Black has a takedown stuffed. Karazhan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Black. Karazhan throws a right and a left that both miss. Karazhan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Black moves out of range and avoids them all easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Black takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Black thuds a left hand into Karazhan's body. Black throws a hook but Karazhan blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karazhan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Black circles away quickly and effectively. Tibor Karazhan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Black checks a leg kick nicely. Karazhan throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Karazhan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Black paws at him with a jab and circles away. Karazhan misses with a jab, cross combination.

Karazhan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Black moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Some bone on bone action there as Black checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Karazhan throws out a leg kick but Black moves out of range and Karazhan only half commits. Karazhan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Karazhan throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Karazhan throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Black counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Karazhan misses with a combination
and Black moves into the clinch. Karazhan gets a trip takedown into half guard. Black keeping control of the position. Black looking for submissions off his back. Karazhan wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Black uses the opportunity to regain full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Black keeping moving, preventing Karazhan from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Black has a closed guard, preventing Karazhan from standing up. Black pulls Karazhan in close to prevent any damage. Karazhan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Black. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Black working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Karazhan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Black is tightening it up a little... Karazhan has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Karazhan reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Karazhan taps out! nice BJJ there by Black!
