The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DumFuk pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rush avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rush throws a series of punches but DumFuk moves out of range.
DumFuk misses with a head kick.
DumFuk scores with a nice body kick.
Rush keeps the fight on the outside.
Rush loads up on a big right hand but DumFuk slips the punch.
DumFuk fakes the leg kick and cracks Rush in the body.
DumFuk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rush paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rush lands with an uppercut that bounces DumFuk off the cage and back into rage.
Rush swats away the attempt to clinch by DumFuk.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

DumFuk displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rush throws out the jab.

A looping hook to the body misses from Rush. DumFuk does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rush shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with DumFuk but DumFuk pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Rush lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Rush uses his free foot to push down on DumFuk's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for DumFuk.
