Gracie's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, "The Last of the Mohicans-FORT BATTLE" Entrance Theme for the Gracie Family. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Talib tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Talib fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Talib misses with a takedown attempt - Gracie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Gracie just misses with a punch to the body.
Talib doesn't manage to clinch there - Gracie circles away.
Talib tries a head kick but it misses.
Gracie takes the fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie gets control of Talib's arms and successfully pulls guard. Gracie will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Gracie controls Talib momentarily but Talib frees himself.
Talib is looking to work some ground and pound but Gracie has wrist control.
Talib must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Gracie looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie is adopting a defensive guard.

Gracie is really struggling to control Talib but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Talib misses with the combination.
Talib shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gracie sprawls well. Gracie wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Talib gets slowly back to his feet.
Rogerio Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ali Talib.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Talib gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Talib lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gracie!

Gracie wants to control but Talib is having none of it.
Gracie really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Gracie tries to lock up and control but Talib gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Gracie is in all sorts of trouble here.
Talib throwing strikes here but Gracie is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
BOOM! Talib connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Gracie wants to control but Talib is having none of it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Gracie sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Talib winds up and cracks Gracie with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Gracie is looking to improve his position.
Talib is working for a kimura but Gracie is defending it quite comfortably.
Talib throwing shots but Gracie is blocking nicely.
Gracie keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Gracie tries to roll over but Talib keeps him under control.
Talib not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Talib misses with the combination.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Talib sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat.
Talib tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Talib lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracie circles away quickly and effectively.
Gracie scores a takedown into full mount!
Talib has given up his back here. Will Gracie look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Gracie is not going to allow Talib to sit and survive in this position.
Gracie is persistently looking for the submission but Talib is defending it well.
Gracie looking for the choke from the back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Gracie tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Talib leaves Gracie with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Talib shoots and misses
and Gracie counters with a takedown into side control.
Rogerio Gracie overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Gracie looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Talib, who protects the arm well.
Gracie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Talib gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Gracie wants to free his trapped foot but Talib is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie seems to be looking for submissions.
Talib is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gracie pulls his head out easily.

Gracie has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Talib defend it? Gracie steps over the head and cranks it - Talib is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Gracie!
