Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Belkofer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, joe blow! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belkofer is looking to clinch but blow is avoiding it.
blow tries to clinch but Belkofer moves away enabling Belkofer to counter with a crisp jab. Belkofer has blow up against the cage in a clinch.
Still in the clinch, Belkofer scores with a nice short uppercut. Belkofer makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Belkofer lands on the inside with an uppercut. A short right from Belkofer. A short right hand to the side of the head by Belkofer. blow being controlled against the cage. Belkofer keeps the fight in the clinch, despite blow's efforts to push away. A frustrated look appears on blow's face as he tries to break the clinch. blow looks gassed! Belkofer lands a left hand.
blow can't get the takedown.

Belkofer scores with a shot to the side of blow's head. blow letting Belkofer take a breather here. Belkofer with a knee to the head.
Belkofer stalling the fight.
blow working hard to break the clinch. A right hand to the body from Belkofer.
Belkofer putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has blow in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. blow's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Belkofer lands with a left to the head. Belkofer landing knees to the head.
Belkofer prevents blow from breaking the clinch. Belkofer lands on the inside with an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. A short right from Belkofer on the inside. Belkofer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Belkofer scores with a slapping inside leg kick. blow avoids the head kick by Belkofer.
A shot to the liver by Belkofer. Beautiful body shot. Belkofer darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Ground and pound from Belkofer. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Belkofer in particular looking to stall. Belkofer is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. blow doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Belkofer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Belkofer is looking to take a break and control but blow is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. blow has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Belkofer is working away from the top position though. blow blocking the ground and pound attempt from Belkofer. Belkofer tries to stand and escape but blow is controlling the position. Belkofer trying to control the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Belkofer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Belkofer wants to pass the guard but blow is defending well.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Belkofer moves into the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Belkofer lands a nice uppercut. Belkofer makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Belkofer lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Nice body punch from Belkofer. A short right hand to the side of the head by Belkofer. Belkofer manages to break the clinch.
Belkofer throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends blow stumbling backwards into the cage! blow bounces back off the cage towards Belkofer, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Belkofer lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Belkofer celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). David Belkofer!
