PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ki Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Law's entrance music is Soulja Boy. A fine choice. Nate Sonnen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Sonnen with that takedown attempt.
Law closes the distance and clinches up with Sonnen, looking for a takedown. Law pushes Sonnen against the cage but Sonnen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Law tries for a takedown but Sonnen circles away easily
and Sonnen counters with a single leg into guard. Law didn't expect that.
Sonnen throwing strikes from guard but Law blocks nicely.
Law has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Sonnen should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Law has tightened it up now! Sonnen should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
