The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cosco.
Rua lands a big head kick that sends Cosco tumbling to the mat! Rua takes a step backwards and waves Cosco back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Cosco is rocked!
It looks like Hamilton Cosco has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rua takes the fight into the clinch.
Cosco is still on wobbly legs! Can Rua finish him?
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Rua takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Cosco seems to have recovered his senses.

Cosco wants to get back to striking at distance but Rua won't allow it.

Rua working the clinch nicely. Cosco is working for position but Rua cracks him with a big knee to the head! Cosco crumples up against the cage and Rua lands two more shots before the ref can save Cosco! This one is all over!
