Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scottie Terrier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terrier comes to the cage accompanied by Down with the Sickness. Noah Payne has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Scottie Terrier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Noah Payne!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terrier shoots in for a takedown but Payne shows good takedown defense.
Payne misses with a looping left.
Terrier fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nice defenses there by Terrier.
Terrier keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Payne.
Horrible takedown by Terrier or perhaps it was just good defense by Payne which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scottie Terrier. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Terrier looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Payne prevents Terrier from moving into mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Terrier landing strikes.
Payne is looking to regain half guard here but Terrier keeps moving and retains side control.
Terrier creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Payne sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Payne throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Payne prevents Terrier from improving position.
Terrier wants to control but Payne is keeping him busy.
Terrier taking a break here but Payne is having none of it and regains half guard.
Payne is trying to get back to full guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Terrier lands a nice short elbow.

Terrier tries to pass the half guard into mount. Payne knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Payne tries to roll over but Terrier keeps him under control.

Terrier has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Terrier lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Terrier is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Terrier slips a nice elbow through Payne's hands, connecting with Payne's forehead.
Terrier wants to take a breather but Payne is having none of it.
Payne moves into full guard.
Terrier will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Terrier throws and elbow that misses. Payne uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Terrier's guard. Nice move by Payne!
Terrier bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Payne's guard.

Terrier wants to pass the guard but Payne is keeping the position.
Terrier trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Terrier thows a big elbow that misses.
Terrier connects with a couple of short punches.
Terrier in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Terrier stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Payne swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Terrier wants to control from the top but Payne keeps moving.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scottie Terrier dominated that round.
That's time! Terrier's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Terrier shoots in looking for a takedown. Payne tries to sprawl out of it but Terrier keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Payne manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Payne throws a looping overhand right but Terrier ducks down to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Terrier fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Terrier misses with a wild body shot.

Terrier tries to bum rush Payne with a series of wild strikes but Payne uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Terrier shoots in and drives through. Payne sprawls well.
Payne stuffs the takedown.

Terrier closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Payne did well to prevent Terrier getting side control.

Terrier is working for an americana but Payne has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Terrier was thinking about the submission.

Payne escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Terrier gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Payne utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Scottie Terrier overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Payne avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Payne is looking to sinch up a triangle. Terrier throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Payne's body to avoid the submission. Payne has instead reached around Terrier's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Payne arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Noah Payne!
