Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eveldas Kapulayavalsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Hammer is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eveldas Kapulayavalsky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Paul Hammer! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kapulayavalsky tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hammer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kapulayavalsky sprawls well initially but Hammer persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Hammer trying to control from Kapulayavalsky's half guard. Kapulayavalsky has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Kapulayavalsky controls Hammer momentarily but Hammer frees himself. Kapulayavalsky has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hammer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hammer controlling from the top position. Kapulayavalsky really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hammer throwing strikes but missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammer looking to sit in guard and control but Kapulayavalsky gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hammer trying to keep a closed guard but Kapulayavalsky is proving a slippery customer.
Kapulayavalsky will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hammer has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Kapulayavalsky has passed into side control.
Hammer wants to control but Kapulayavalsky postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kapulayavalsky misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kapulayavalsky comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Jab, jab by Kapulayavalsky - just one landing. Hammer closes the distance and clinches. Hammer prevents Kapulayavalsky from breaking the clinch. Hammer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kapulayavalsky digs a good hook to Hammer's body.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Hammer takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Kapulayavalsky's corner calls for a 1-2. Kapulayavalsky obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Hammer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Hammer darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Hammer wants to control but Kapulayavalsky is keeping him busy. Hammer looks gassed! Hammer stands up from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Kapulayavalsky throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hammer. Kapulayavalsky tries for a takedown but Hammer circles away easily and Hammer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hammer showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Kapulayavalsky tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hammer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hammer stays in close to Kapulayavalsky's body and controls the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Hammer dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hammer has managed to clinch.
Kapulayavalsky can't break the clinch.
Kapulayavalsky is trying to break free. Kapulayavalsky has had enough of the clinch but Hammer keeps him there for the moment. Kapulayavalsky is looking to break free of the clinch but Hammer has double underhooks. Kapulayavalsky tries to break the clinch but Hammer is controlling the position. Hammer manages to pull guard.
Hammer manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Hammer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Hammer can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kapulayavalsky is looking to escape. Kapulayavalsky tries to control the position but Hammer now has his back.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Can Kapulayavalsky hold on?! Hammer is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kapulayavalsky staying busy and making it hard for Hammer to control. Hammer misses with an elbow to the head. Hammer looking to break Kapulayavalsky's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Kapulayavalsky remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Hammer will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Hammer is controlling the position but Kapulayavalsky somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.
Hammer is thwarting Kapulayavalsky's attempts to control the position. Kapulayavalsky is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hammer prevents Kapulayavalsky from standing back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kapulayavalsky doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hammer decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kapulayavalsky's guard. Hammer looking to control the position here, rather than advance. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kapulayavalsky is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kapulayavalsky stands up from Hammer's guard - Kapulayavalsky perhaps looking for a knockout. Kapulayavalsky throws a good cross that connects.
Kapulayavalsky scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hammer in his tracks. A decent looking cross lands there for Kapulayavalsky.
Hammer is rocked! Kapulayavalsky seems to be stalking Hammer here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Hammer drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Eveldas Kapulayavalsky!
