Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cezar Munoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocky Balboa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cezar Munoz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rocky Balboa! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Munoz. Balboa stops Munoz from passing to mount. Balboa defending against the ground and pound. Munoz happy to just control the position for now. Munoz misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Munoz creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Balboa sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. The referee asks Munoz politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Munoz prefers to stall for the moment though. Munoz stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Balboa bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Munoz scores with a jab. Balboa acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Munoz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Balboa steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Munoz. Munoz jabs at Balboa's body. Munoz takes a swing at Balboa's ribcage but misses. Rocky Balboa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Balboa goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Balboa moves out of range as Munoz strikes. Balboa throws the left hand but Munoz avoids the punch easily. Balboa misses with a double jab
and Munoz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Munoz slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Munoz throws the left hand but Balboa avoids the punch easily. Cezar Munoz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Balboa throws a sloppy body shot
and Munoz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Munoz shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Balboa manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. This has been an exciting period of action! Balboa wants to stand but Munoz is controlling the position. Munoz trying to control but Balboa is working from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Munoz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Balboa avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Balboa looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Munoz trying to control the position from guard on top but Balboa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Balboa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Munoz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Munoz forces his way into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Balboa can do anything to dispel that myth. Munoz tries to pass the half guard into mount. Balboa knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Munoz stands up from half guard. Munoz throws a combination. Balboa tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Balboa throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Munoz tries to move into range but Balboa moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Munoz jabs Balboa right on the nose. Balboa blinks but takes it well. Munoz cracks Balboa with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Munoz throws a left and a right that both miss
and Balboa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Munoz displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Munoz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Munoz lands in his opponent's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Balboa utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Munoz is looking to work some ground and pound but Balboa has wrist control. Munoz thows a big elbow that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cezar Munoz dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Munoz throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Munoz lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Munoz fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Balboa on the side of the head. Munoz lands a body shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Munoz passes into half guard. Munoz not landing any meaningful shots this time. Balboa is breathing heavily. Munoz working over Balboa with some ground and pound. Balboa looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Munoz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Balboa with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Balboa on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Munoz sitting and controlling from the half guard. Munoz trying to control from half guard but Balboa is working away. Munoz thows a huge punch but Balboa dodges it nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Munoz has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Munoz passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Balboa! Balboa holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Munoz tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Munoz has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Balboa's face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Munoz misses with a head shot. Munoz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Munoz landing strikes from the mount and Balboa is in trouble! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Munoz cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Munoz cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Munoz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Munoz with shots to the head and body - Balboa looks very uncomfortable down there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Munoz sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Munoz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Balboa is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cezar Munoz dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
A lazy left from Munoz finds it's target. Munoz is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Balboa can do to turn this around? Munoz keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Balboa. The fighters circling - Balboa throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Munoz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Balboa but Balboa pushes him off and we're back to square one. Munoz lands with a nice body punch. Balboa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Munoz lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Balboa at a distance.
A left lands for Munoz. Balboa on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Balboa takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Munoz connects with a looping right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jab by Munoz. Nice body punch from Munoz. Munoz dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Munoz uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Balboa has time to react. Munoz cracks Balboa with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Balboa takes one to the side of the head.
Jab, jab by Munoz - just one landing. Balboa has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Munoz lands a nice looking body shot.
Rocky Balboa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Balboa moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Munoz works over Balboa's head and body with a nice combination. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A lazy left from Munoz finds it's target. Balboa has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Munoz closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Balboa did well to prevent Munoz getting side control. Munoz throwing shots but Balboa is blocking nicely. Munoz not landing any meaningful shots this time. Munoz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Balboa is not content to let Munoz control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Munoz stalling. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Balboa avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Munoz. Munoz is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Balboa! Balboa holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Munoz tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Cezar Munoz is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Munoz looking to control and managing it successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight! Cezar Munoz showed his dominance in that final round. Well Munoz has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
