These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noon is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Quinlan fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Noon is out of range.
Quinlan throws a shot from downtown. Noon moves away and avoids it.
Quinlan throws a right and a left that Noon avoids nicely.
Quinlan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Noon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Quinlan wants to clinch up but Noon keeps it at a distance.
Noon lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Quinlan fails to land the takedown.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Noon!
Noon throws a lazy right hand but Quinlan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Donagh Quinlan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Noon is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Quinlan throws out a loose jab but Noon uses good head movement to avoid it.
Noon lands a jab to Quinlan's midsection.
Noon throws a right hand that Quinlan ducks under and follows up with a left that Quinlan also avoids with ease.
A left and a right from Noon both land. Nice combination.


It looks like Donagh Quinlan has been cut.

Noon waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Quinlan. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Quinlan to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Quinlan can do anything to dispel that myth.

Noon stands and steps away. Quinlan gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Quinlan is still on wobbly legs! Can Noon finish him?
Noon lands a hook that stumbles Quinlan back into the cage. Noon follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Quinlan to the canvas! Noon pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Quinlan has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
