Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between The Miz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daley Borisov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Daley Borisov! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miz shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Borisov napping and manages to drive through into side control! Miz lands some shots froms side control. Borisov manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Borisov looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Borisov looking for submissions off his back. Borisov tries to get to full guard but Miz has control of the leg. Borisov looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Miz wants to pass to mount but Borisov is defending the position. Miz seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miz seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Borisov for as long as he can get away with. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Borisov manages to get back to half guard. Miz content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Borisov looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Miz is breathing heavily. Borisov actively working from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miz moves into full mount! Borisov won't be happy about that! Miz controlling the pace for now. Borisov is bucking up trying to escape but Miz cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Miz prevents Borisov from getting the reversal. Borisov has given up his back here.
Miz is trying to stick to Borisov's back but Borisov is turning into Miz. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Miz's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Borisov. Borisov trying to control but Miz is working from the bottom. Borisov looking to pass the guard. Miz knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Borisov on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Miz throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Borisov passes Miz's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Miz keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Borisov seems to be looking for submissions.
Borisov wants to work for an arm triangle but Miz is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that The Miz will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Borisov with a poor takedown and Miz counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Borisov's guard now. Miz chips away with some ground and pound. Miz wanted to stand there but Borisov had control of the position. The Miz overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Borisov looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Miz wants to stand and escape but instead Borisov has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Miz controls Borisov momentarily but Borisov frees himself. Borisov trying to control the position from guard on top but Miz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Borisov postures up in Miz's guard and throws a big left but Miz blocks it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Miz keeping moving, preventing Borisov from controlling successfully.

Borisov passes easily into side control. Nice work. Miz is looking to reverse the position. Borisov looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Borisov is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Miz is aware though and is defending well. That's three minutes gone in the round. Miz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Borisov is keeping the position for now. Borisov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Miz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Borisov isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Miz stacks Borisov on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Miz! Miz remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Miz wants to stand but Borisov has his arm trapped.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Borisov is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Borisov is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Miz is tapping! Great win for Borisov!
