Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Francis Okocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mat Karim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Francis Okocha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mat Karim! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karim tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Okocha swivels and escapes. Nice sprawl there from Okocha as Karim shoots in. Okocha moves into the clinch. Okocha has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Karim clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Karim is trapped and Okocha is scoring with shots to the head and body. Okocha tries to keep control of the position but Karim is staying busy. Karim holding both Okocha 's hands and preventing any damage. Karim preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Okocha. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Will Okocha go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Karim is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Okocha wants to control but Karim manages to buck him off and is now in Okocha's guard! Nice work there by Karim! Okocha pushes Karim off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Okocha fails with a takedown attempt. Okocha has his takedown stuffed and Karim counters with a nice double leg into guard. Karim looks gassed! Okocha trying to control the position here. Okocha looking to control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Okocha has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Francis Okocha. Karim throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Okocha was covering up waiting for the punch and Karim finishes the takedown easily into guard. Okocha throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Okocha is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Okocha seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Okocha not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Karim off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Okocha is trying hard to land a takedown here. Karim sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Francis Okocha will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Karim stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Karim wants it to stay on the feet. Okocha fails with a takedown attempt. Francis Okocha is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Okocha fails with an attempt to clinch.
Okocha closes this distance looking for a takedown but Karim circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Francis Okocha. That's going to take a lot out of him. Karim clinches with his opponent.

Karim gets control of Okocha's arms and successfully pulls guard. Karim will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Karim looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Okocha gets to his feet - Karim follows without any prompting. Karim throws a leg kick which misses Okocha's front leg but catches the back leg as Okocha tries to avoid it. Karim tries to clinch but Okocha is having none of it. Okocha drives through and clinches with Karim against the cage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Okocha landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Okocha jumps guard but Karim stands there with Okocha around his waist. Okocha gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Okocha fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Karim misses with a takedown attempt and Okocha counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Karim is pressed up against the cage. Okocha has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Karim down to the mat. Karim avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Okocha tries to bum rush Karim with a series of wild strikes but Karim uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Mat Karim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Okocha tries to clinch but Karim is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Okocha doesn't succeed with the takedown and Karim counters with a nice double leg into side control. Okocha won't be happy with that. Okocha sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Okocha is staying active underneath Karim, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Okocha is defending against the submission attempts here by Karim.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Okocha is trying desperately to improve position. Karim working for a guillotine from mount but Okocha is in no mood to give up. Okocha wants to hold on but Karim pushes him away. Karim blocks Okocha's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Okocha really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Okocha tries to hold on but Karim pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Okocha is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Okocha is desperately trying to improve his position but Karim has a good base and remains in mount. Okocha wants to control but Karim is having none of it. Okocha keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Karim avoids the attempt from Okocha to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mat Karim showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Okocha gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Okocha is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Karim wants to sweep here but Okocha controlling him for the moment. Karim working for submissions but it's allowed Okocha to get to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Karim looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Karim wants to improve his position but Okocha is controlling well.
Okocha passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Karim! Okocha postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Karim looks a forlorn figure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Okocha punishing his opponent with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Okocha landing punches. Okocha breaks from Karim's wrist control and lands an elbow. Karim is trying to escape the mount.
Karim wants to hold on but Okocha pushes him away. Karim is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Okocha blocks Karim's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Okocha trying to control but he's not successful this time. Karim is bucking up trying to escape but Okocha cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Karim tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Okocha can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Karim is looking to escape. Karim is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Okocha is standing up, even though he is in mount. Okocha wants to clinch. Karim shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Okocha tries to hold on but Karim postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Karim with the ground and pound from mount. Karim get's back to his feet. Karim has closed the distance and engaged Okocha in a clinch.
Okocha has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Karim uses from the top position. Okocha bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Karim's guard. Okocha stands up from guard. Let's bang! Okocha drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. You can see the frustration on Karim's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Francis Okocha showed his dominance in that final round. I think Okocha has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
