These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
renfro takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
renfro on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Cooper drives through and clinches with renfro against the cage.
Cooper lands a body shot in the clinch.
Cooper misses with a short punch on the inside.
renfro tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Cooper avoids it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Cooper.
renfro takes a shot to the head.
renfro throws an elbow that misses.

renfro gets control of Cooper's arms and successfully pulls guard. renfro will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
