Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joabe Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Lucas had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Joabe Oliveira has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucas fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Oliveira looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Lucas fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Oliveira sprawls well initially but Lucas persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Frank Lucas will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Frank Lucas.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lucas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
