Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Petrang Kabayo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonid Vasilevsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kabayo tries a head kick but it misses.
Vasilevsky throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kabayo lands with a thumping leg kick.
Vasilevsky shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kabayo is trying to defend but Vasilevsky finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kabayo controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Vasilevsky seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kabayo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Vasilevsky is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kabayo is just riding it out for now. Vasilevsky eventually gives up the hold. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vasilevsky is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kabayo has managed to free his arm - good work. Kabayo tries to roll over but Vasilevsky keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kabayo wants to control but Vasilevsky is keeping busy and won't allow it. Vasilevsky tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kabayo knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Kabayo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vasilevsky on the ground. Kabayo wants to improve his position but Vasilevsky is controlling well.
Vasilevsky tries to pass to full mount but Kabayo defends it. Vasilevsky prevents Kabayo from improving his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Vasilevsky shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kabayo as he jumps to the side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Excellent takedown into side control there by Kabayo. Vasilevsky can't do much from the bottom here. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Vasilevsky regains half guard. Kabayo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kabayo is breathing heavily. Vasilevsky gets full guard. Vasilevsky had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kabayo defends it easily. Kabayo is looking to stand up but Vasilevsky won't let him.

Vasilevsky keeping moving, preventing Kabayo from controlling successfully. Kabayo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Vasilevsky's head. Vasilevsky looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kabayo wants to control from the top but Vasilevsky keeps moving. Kabayo looking to pass the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leonid Vasilevsky dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Vasilevsky changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kabayo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Vasilevsky is looking to take a break and control but Kabayo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kabayo gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Kabayo wants to hold on but Vasilevsky pushes him away. Vasilevsky looking for a guillotine from mount but Kabayo is having none of it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Vasilevsky wants to finish this one by submission but Kabayo is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Vasilevsky. Vasilevsky goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kabayo is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vasilevsky looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kabayo is one step ahead there. Kabayo is in close to Vasilevsky's body, working some short punches and elbows. Kabayo wants to control from the top but Vasilevsky keeps moving. Vasilevsky manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Kabayo scores with a takedown into Vasilevsky's guard. Vasilevsky bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kabayo's guard.

Vasilevsky trying to control the position from guard on top but Kabayo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Leonid Vasilevsky has got the better of the ground game so far. Kabayo tries to land a sweep but no joy. Vasilevsky drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vasilevsky jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kabayo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Vasilevsky jumps back into Kabayo's guard. Vasilevsky drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kabayo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Vasilevsky has Kabayo in his guard. Leonid Vasilevsky showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Petrang Kabayo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Leonid Vasilevsky is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kabayo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Petrang Kabayo. I think Vasilevsky has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
