Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Cod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cod is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: All I Do Is Win. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Beast! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Manny Cod! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beast fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cod sprawls well initially but Beast persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Cod trying to hold on to Beast's head to control him but Beast postures up.
Beast is figuring out what he wants to do next. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beast has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Beast shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cod napping and manages to drive through into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Cod gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Beast content just to control the position here. Beast misses with a head shot. Beast takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Beast thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Beast controlling the pace for now. Beast seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Cod for as long as he can get away with. Cod tries to hold on but Beast pushes him away. Beast content just to control the position here. Beast's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Tony Beast just wasn't active enough. Beast tries to bum rush Cod with a series of wild strikes but Cod uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Beast fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cod sprawls well initially but Beast persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Beast looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beast is pressing down on Cod's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cod is holding on for now. Beast perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Tony Beast wasn't doing enough on the ground. Cod throws a head kick that misses. Beast decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Beast trying to control the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Beast dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Cod doesn't succeed with the takedown and Beast counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Beast controlling the action here. Cod actively working from the bottom here. Beast trying to control the pace. Cod is breathing heavily.

Beast wants to pass to mount but Cod is defending the position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Beast in particular looking to stall. Tony Beast overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Beast shoots in and bounces Cod off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Cod wants to control the position but Beast says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Beast wants to free his trapped foot but Cod is holding on for dear life with his legs. Beast not doing much here.
Cod takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beast moves into full mount! Cod won't be happy about that! Beast sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Cod is in a horrible position here. Beast smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

And that's the end of the fight! Tony Beast showed his dominance in that final round. Well Beast has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
