Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Aces (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JD Almanez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Almanez has chosen Wait And Bleed by Slipknot as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mark Aces! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, JD Almanez! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Lou da Vinci and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aces misses with a series of wild punches.
Almanez is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Aces slaps away a takedown attempt from Almanez, before circling back to the center of the mat. Aces misses with the combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Almanez shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's one minute gone in the round. Almanez is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Aces defends it well. Almanez seems to be working for a kimura but Aces defends the submission attempt. Almanez is trying to work for a kimura but Aces is defending well.
Almanez looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Almanez not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Almanez is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Aces has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Almanez is working away from the top position though. Almanez is working for a submission of some sort.
Almanez is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Aces is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
