Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nate Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nate Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mike Duran! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duran connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Gracie takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Duran tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gracie was well out of range. Poor timing from Duran. Gracie fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Gracie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Duran.
Duran throws a series of punches but Gracie avoids them all with ease. Duran swings for the body but Gracie moves out of range.
Duran digs a good body shot into Gracie's ribs. Duran listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Duran sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat. Gracie doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Duran pinned against the cage. Duran gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nate Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gracie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Gracie is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duran lands a right hook to the body.

Duran thuds a left hand into Gracie's body. Decent striking displayed by Duran there. Duran fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Gracie has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Duran finds it's way round the side to connect with Gracie's head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Duran lands a left and a right that send Gracie crashing to the mat, dazed. Duran thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Gracie is rocked! Gracie tries to get into range but Duran steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Gracie! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Duran scores the big KO victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mike Duran!
