Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Safra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Aronoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aronoff is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: New Disease by Spineshank. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rickson Safra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derek Aronoff! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The crowd cheers as Aronoff lands an impressive looking overhand right. Safra doesn't seem phased though. Aronoff keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Aronoff drops Safra with a left and a right! Oh, Safra is hurt - Aronoff dives into side control looking to finish!
Safra is rocked! Aronoff takes a little break here. Safra wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Oh Safra is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Safra seems to have got his legs back now. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's one minute gone in the round. Safra could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Safra tries to improve position but can't. Aronoff controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Aronoff trying to control the position but Safra is working away.
Despite being in the dominant position, Derek Aronoff just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Aronoff throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Safra shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Safra takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Aronoff misses with a head kick.
Safra tries for a takedown but Aronoff sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Safra is breathing heavily. Aronoff will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A combination from Aronoff does no damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Safra shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Aronoff pinned against the cage. Aronoff gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rickson Safra. That's going to take a lot out of him. Aronoff lands a jab-cross combination.
Safra is rocked! Aronoff throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Safra crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Derek Aronoff!
