Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gendry Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Unstop Able (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snow comes into the arena with Burn Out blaring out of the sound system. Gendry Snow has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gendry Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Unstop Able!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Snow drops Able with a left right combo! Snow follows him down to the ground into side control.


It looks like Unstop Able has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Snow wants to stand but Able has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
Snow has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Snow wants to stand but Able has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Able kicks Snow off and gets to his feet.
Snow throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Snow throws the left hand but Able avoids the punch easily.
Able throws a series of punches but Snow avoids them all with ease.

Snow shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Snow lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Snow throws a looping overhand right but Able ducks down to avoid it.

Snow throws a hook but Able blocks it.
Snow misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Able.

Snow ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Able swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Snow throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Snow lands a slapping body shot.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Able takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Snow pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A lazy left from Snow finds it's target.

and Able cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Snow ducks under a wild hook from Able.
Snow falls off balance throwing a combination

and Able counters by moving into the clinch.
Able tries to throw a body punch but Snow avoids it by throwing Able back against the cage.
Snow jumps guard but Able stands there with Snow around his waist. Snow gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Snow breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Snow throws a head kick that misses.
Snow lands a slapping body shot.
Snow scores with a jab. Able acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gendry Snow dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Unstop Able's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


A combination from Snow does no damage.
Snow throws a nice looking combination but Able bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Able misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Snow.
Snow misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Snow fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Able manages to avoid it.
Snow tests Able's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Snow is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Able fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Able might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Able throws out a loose jab but Snow uses good head movement to avoid it.

enabling Snow to counter with a crisp jab.
Snow missing with a left hand there. Able was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Snow jumps guard and drags Able to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Snow is working an open guard so Able takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Snow connects with a right hand. Able shakes it off.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Snow here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Able takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Able in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
Able is breathing heavily.
Snow lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Able jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Snow stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Snow is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Able can do to turn this around?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Able is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Snow pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Snow is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Able uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Snow.
Snow tries a head kick but it misses.
Able jabbing away but nothing is landing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Snow looks to score with a jab to the body but Able is just out of range.

Able has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Snow throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Unstop Able has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

And that's the end of the fight!
Gendry Snow showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Snow, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
