Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Macedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Cabrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Macedo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Daniel Cabrera! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cabrera shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Macedo's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cabrera accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Macedo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Cabrera prevents Macedo from getting back to his feet. Cabrera cracks Macedo with a solid left hand. Cabrera passes into half guard. Cabrera sitting and controlling from the half guard. Cabrera decides to return to a standing position. Macedo shoots and misses and Cabrera counters with a one-two to the body. Macedo with a poor takedown and Cabrera counters with a nice uppercut. Macedo tries for a takedown but Cabrera circles away easily and Cabrera counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Macedo. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Cabrera with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Macedo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Cabrera is stalling in the full guard. Macedo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Macedo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cabrera on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Cabrera's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Cabrera sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Macedo's guard. Macedo is breathing heavily. Cabrera is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Macedo has managed to free his arm - good work. Cabrera is looking for a kimura here.
Cabrera stalling. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Macedo wants to get back to his feet. Cabrera keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Cabrera passes to side control. Cabrera has an Americana. Macedo didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Cabrera is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Cabrera hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
