Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sweyn Forkbeard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sanius Viver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sweyn Forkbeard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sanius Viver!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viver tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Forkbeard swivels and escapes.
Viver fails to land the takedown.
Viver shoots in looking for a takedown. Forkbeard tries to sprawl out of it but Viver keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Forkbeard manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sweyn Forkbeard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sanius Viver.
Viver avoids the head kick by Forkbeard.
Forkbeard fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Viver shoots in but no luck this time.
Nice takedown defense from Forkbeard. No joy for Viver on that attempt.
Forkbeard throws the kick towards the body but Viver avoids it.
Viver will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Forkbeard fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Viver.
Viver looks gassed!
Forkbeard scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Forkbeard throws a nice head kick!
Forkbeard keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters circle, before Forkbeard throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Viver's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Forkbeard lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Sweyn Forkbeard!
