Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josef Gobbels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peekay Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams has chosen Noise Won't Stop as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Josef Gobbels! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Peekay Williams! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gobbels moves into range and clinches up with Williams. Gobbels breaks from the clinch.
Williams throws the left hand but Gobbels avoids the punch easily. Gobbels showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Williams.
Nice sprawl there from Williams as Gobbels shoots in. Williams ducks under a wild hook from Gobbels. Gobbels looks to throw the jab but Williams is out of range. Gobbels really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Decent striking displayed by Williams there. Gobbels doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Williams throws a jab but it's blocked by Gobbels. Gobbels lands a head shot. Williams moves away from the strike by Gobbels. Williams misses with the combination.
Williams scores with a punch to the head. A solid leg kick lands there for Gobbels.

That's one minute gone in the round. Williams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gobbels moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Williams tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Williams throws a right and a left that Gobbels avoids nicely. Williams throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Gobbels throws an overhand right that lands on Williams's shoulder, as Williams tries to avoid the shot. Williams throws a right hand that Gobbels ducks under and follows up with a left that Gobbels also avoids with ease. Williams throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Gobbels swings for the body but Williams moves out of range.
Williams stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gobbels. Williams throws a right and a left that both miss. Gobbels comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Gobbels thows a left - swing and a miss! Gobbels tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Williams was well out of range. Poor timing from Gobbels.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gobbels scores with a jab to the head.
Gobbels throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Williams. Gobbels lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gobbels throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Williams looks gassed! Gobbels throws a big shot that misses. Gobbels clobbers Williams with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Williams has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Gobbels. Gobbels looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Peekay Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gobbels moves away from the strike by Williams. Gobbels drops Williams with a beautiful combination! Williams stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gobbels is looking for the KO!
It looks like Peekay Williams has been cut. Williams lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gobbels circles away quickly and effectively. Gobbels throws a jab when Williams was well out of range. Gobbels lands a jab to the head.
Williams is rocked! Gobbels swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Williams is still on wobbly legs! Can Gobbels finish him?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gobbels throws out a loose jab but Williams uses good head movement to avoid it. Gobbels throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Williams seems to have recovered his senses. Williams throws a combination that misses and Gobbels counters with a big takedown. That's hurt Williams! Gobbels smells blood and goes in for the kill. Serveral hard shots later and the ref calls an end to the fight by TKO!
