Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Finlay ONeil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Finlay ONeil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rafael Silva! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! ONeil throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Silva sees it coming and avoids it easily. ONeil misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Silva leaves ONeil with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Silva takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Silva thows a body shot but no joy. ONeil tries to clinch there but Silva circles away.
ONeil darts in and clinches Silva up against the cage. ONeil really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. ONeil has picked Silva up - he's going for a ride! ONeil dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. ONeil trying to pass the guard but Silva defending well. Silva pushes ONeil off looking to stand but ONeil dives back in and keeps control.
Silva makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Silva. ONeil being controlled here momentarily. Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but ONeil can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Silva has his foot on ONeil's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. ONeil works his way back into a safe position though. Silva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in ONeil's guard. Silva trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Silva throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. ONeil swivels though and keeps the full guard. Silva throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as ONeil works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Silva trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. ONeil looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. ONeil keeping moving, preventing Silva from controlling successfully. Silva chips away with some ground and pound. Silva wants to control from the top but ONeil keeps moving.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Silva connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. ONeil circles away from the clinch attempt.
Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but ONeil circles away quickly and effectively. Rafael Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silva looks for the body kick but ONeil saw that one coming. ONeil scores with a takedown into Silva's guard. ONeil is breathing heavily. ONeil wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position. Silva manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Silva sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! ONeil is desperately trying to improve his position but Silva has a good base and remains in mount. Silva throws some wild stikes that ONeil manages to avoid easily.
Silva working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. ONeil looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Silva! Submission of the night perhaps?
