Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Mercury PRATEADO (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uwe Kaputtski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Freddy Mercury PRATEADO! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Uwe Kaputtski! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaputtski misses with a two punch combination.
Kaputtski tries to bum rush PRATEADO with a series of wild strikes but PRATEADO uses good footwork to avoid the assault. PRATEADO keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kaputtski. Kaputtski takes a jab right on the kisser.
Kaputtski swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

PRATEADO closes the distance and clinches up with Kaputtski, looking for a takedown. PRATEADO pushes Kaputtski against the cage but Kaputtski circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. PRATEADO shoots in and bounces Kaputtski off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Kaputtski pulls PRATEADO in to control the position. PRATEADO throws a big right hand that misses. PRATEADO has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kaputtski wants to stand but PRATEADO is controlling the position. PRATEADO throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. PRATEADO is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kaputtski is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kaputtski has escaped and now he's on top! PRATEADO thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaputtski content to stall in guard here. Kaputtski stands up from PRATEADO's guard - Kaputtski perhaps looking for a knockout. Freddy Mercury PRATEADO seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. PRATEADO tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kaputtski swivels and escapes. Kaputtski throws a right and a left that both miss. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Kaputtski throws a right hand that PRATEADO ducks under and follows up with a left that PRATEADO also avoids with ease. PRATEADO showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kaputtski.
Kaputtski looks gassed! Kaputtski fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
PRATEADO fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Freddy Mercury PRATEADO. That's going to take a lot out of him. PRATEADO looks to land a combination. Kaputtski sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. PRATEADO tries to clinch up but Kaputtski circles away and keeps his distance. PRATEADO wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. PRATEADO slips a jab and a cross from Kaputtski.
PRATEADO tries to clinch up. PRATEADO shoots in but no luck this time. Kaputtski keeps the fight on the outside. PRATEADO digs a good body shot into Kaputtski's ribs. Kaputtski avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Kaputtski pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kaputtski has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kaputtski there as he acknowledges the shot. PRATEADO tries to clinch up. A swing and a miss from Kaputtski. PRATEADO tries to clinch but Kaputtski is having none of it. PRATEADO shoots in for a double leg but Kaputtski sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. PRATEADO fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kaputtski scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
PRATEADO lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kaputtski stuffs the takedown attempt from PRATEADO. PRATEADO gets slowly back to his feet. Kaputtski throws a hook to the side of PRATEADO's head but PRATEADO sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kaputtski drops PRATEADO with a left right combo! Kaputtski follows him down to the ground into side control.
PRATEADO is rocked!
It looks like Freddy Mercury PRATEADO has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! PRATEADO is trying to work for a sweep but Kaputtski has mounted him! Oh PRATEADO is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! PRATEADO really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Kaputtski controlling the position easily from mount. PRATEADO can't escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kaputtski tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. PRATEADO seems to have got his legs back now. PRATEADO is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kaputtski takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. PRATEADO is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. PRATEADO gets back to half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
PRATEADO tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Kaputtski has advanced to mount. Uh oh. PRATEADO keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kaputtski controlling the pace for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Uwe Kaputtski dominated that round. The cut man is working on Freddy Mercury PRATEADO's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Kaputtski feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to PRATEADO's calf. Kaputtski steps into range and cracks PRATEADO with a monster punch that buckles his knees! PRATEADO flops backwards and Kaputtski dives into his guard looking to finish!
PRATEADO being controlled here, momentarily. Kaputtski stands up and waves to PRATEADO to follow him. PRATEADO fails to land the takedown. Nice uppercut lands for PRATEADO. That snapped Kaputtski's head back.

Kaputtski keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kaputtski closes the distance and lands a one-two. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kaputtski looks to land a combination but PRATEADO avoids it well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kaputtski throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Kaputtski on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A jab from Kaputtski misses. Kaputtski circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops PRATEADO to the canvas! PRATEADO doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Kaputtski keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
