Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juancho Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MR T (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). T is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by mr t. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Juancho Rivera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, MR T! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Roberts and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rivera fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. T tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rivera manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A jab from T misses. Some wild striking there from T.
Rivera throws a big shot that misses. T tries to clinch up but Rivera circles away and keeps his distance. T takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. T on the wrong end of a nice hook. T uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rivera. Rivera avoids a punch combination nicely.
T wants to clinch. Rivera scores with a hook to the body. T takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rivera lands an overhand right. T moves out of range as Rivera strikes. T gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rivera. T takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Rivera misses with a body shot.
Rivera scores with a decent looking hook. T throws a right and a left that Rivera avoids nicely. T is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Rivera throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Rivera slips a straight right by T. Nice uppercut there from Rivera. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! T is looking to clinch but Rivera is avoiding it.
T tries to clinch but Rivera is having none of it. Rivera throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rivera stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. MR T seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rivera thows a body shot but no joy. T tries to close the distance and clinch but Rivera swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rivera connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. T keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rivera. T misses with a double jab
and Rivera counters with a nice uppercut.
T is rocked! T darts in trying to clinch and Rivera scores with a counter punch that sends T to the canvas! Rivera smells blood - he's punishing T with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! T has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Juancho Rivera!
