Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Wilcox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes to the cage accompanied by Bishop Lamont - Pass That. John Williams has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jon Wilcox!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wilcox sprawls well. Wilcox wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Williams gets slowly back to his feet.
Williams fails with a takedown attempt.
Williams dives in and grabs Wilcox's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wilcox pushes down on Williams's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Wilcox closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Williams to the mat! Williams manages to get full guard.

Williams is working an open guard so Wilcox takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Wilcox looks up at the clock and then as Williams takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Wilcox smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Wilcox drives through and clinches with Williams against the cage.
Williams is trying to force a seperation but Wilcox has the dominant position.

Wilcox tightens his grip and picks Williams up, before dumping him to the ground. Williams manages to land in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Williams gets underhooks to prevent Wilcox's takedown attempt.
Williams really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wilcox tries to score a body lock takedown but Williams shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Jon Wilcox showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Williams pulls Wilcox in close to his closed guard and prevents Wilcox from doing any damage or advancing position.

Williams will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well Wilcox has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
