Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cam Pederson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eddie Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cam Pederson! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pederson drives through with a takedown into guard. Miller utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Miller is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Pederson stands up from guard. Let's bang! The fight stays on the outside here - Pederson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Pederson feints and as Miller raises his hands in defense, Pederson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller trying to keep a closed guard but Pederson is proving a slippery customer.
Pederson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Pederson passes Miller's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pederson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Pederson is looking to take a break and control but Miller is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Pederson thows a huge punch but Miller dodges it nicely.
Pederson wants to pass the guard but Miller is defending well. Miller on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Miller tries to get out of the position. Pederson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Pederson is thwarting Miller's attempts to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pederson controlling the pace. Pederson trying to control from half guard but Miller is working away. Miller preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Cam Pederson. Pederson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Miller was covering up waiting for the punch and Pederson finishes the takedown easily into guard. Pederson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pederson moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Pederson in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Cam Pederson was stalling too much, according to the referee. Pederson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Pederson wants to clinch up but Miller keeps it at a distance. Pederson tries to work over Miller's front leg with a kick but Miller checks it. Pederson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Miller tries to avoid it but Pederson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Miller to the ground. Miller escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pederson. Eddie Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cam Pederson. Pederson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Miller swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pederson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Miller quickly recovers to half guard. Miller trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Pederson manages to pass to mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cam Pederson dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Pederson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Miller closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pederson to the mat! Pederson manages to get full guard. Miller won't allow Pederson to sweep him here. Miller wants to control from the top but Pederson keeps moving. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pederson is on top in guard.
Pederson throws a big right hand that misses. Pederson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pederson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Miller takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Miller misses the shot to the body. Pederson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Miller counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Pederson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pederson postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Miller to stand up. Pederson gets the takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pederson throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Pederson decides to stand back up. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pederson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Miller counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Pederson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Pederson works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Pederson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Pederson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pederson passes into half guard. Pederson moves into full mount! Miller won't be happy about that! Pederson is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Pederson extends the arm and Miller is forced to tap!
