PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Bloggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: We Are One - 12 Stones. Bloggs has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Scott!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Scott rushes Bloggs and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Scott controlling the action here for a moment.
Bloggs looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Bloggs connects with a nasty looking knee right to Scott's face.
Bloggs tries to circle away but Scott has him pinned against the cage.
Bloggs with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Bloggs misses with an elbow strike.

Scott manages to break the clinch.

Scott looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bloggs!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bloggs is breathing heavily.
Bloggs taking shots to the head.
Bloggs is looking to improve his position but Scott isn't that keen on the idea.
Scott controlling from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bloggs has left one of his arms exposed and Scott doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Bloggs screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
