1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chris Terrorist! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Terrorist looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Terrorist drives through with a takedown into guard. Seven is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Terrorist trying to control the position from guard on top but Seven is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Terrorist trying to stand up but can't free himself from Seven's guard. Terrorist drops back looking for a leg! Seven is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Seven manages to kick Terrorist off! Terrorist jumps back into Seven's guard. Terrorist won't allow Seven to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Terrorist stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's one minute gone in the round. Seven's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Seven duly obliges. Terrorist fails with a takedown attempt. Terrorist looks gassed! Terrorist fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Avenged Seven has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Terrorist. Seven shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Seven stands up from Terrorist's guard - Seven perhaps looking for a knockout. Seven shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Terrorist is trying to defend but Seven finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Seven tries to pass to full mount but Terrorist defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Terrorist manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Seven is looking to advance position but Terrorist has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Seven is in all sorts of trouble here.
Seven is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Terrorist scoring with strikes but Seven is staying in there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Terrorist controlling his opponent. Terrorist throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Seven has his hands clasped together but Terrorist breaks the hold and Seven is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Terrorist!
