Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck The Russian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandrei Renzo Shirov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Russian kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Keep on. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shirov is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. The Russian can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Shirov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The Russian. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The Russian has given up his back. Will we see Shirov going for some submissions?

That was a close round but I would say that Chuck The Russian will probably get the nod.

Shirov shoots in looking for a takedown. The Russian tries to sprawl out of it but Shirov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. The Russian manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The Russian quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Shirov has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! The Russian celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
