Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Holden Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Steinhauser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steinhauser has chosen Necro - poetry in the streets as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Holden Jones is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones gets a takedown into half guard.
Jones tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Steinhauser.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Steinhauser can do anything to dispel that myth.

Steinhauser had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jones defends it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jones dives in and grabs Steinhauser's left leg, looking for a takedown. Steinhauser pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.

and Jones decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Steinhauser's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Despite being in the dominant position, Hans Steinhauser just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Steinhauser counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Jones is lucky that one didn't land flush.
