Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between The King of Lusitania (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amin Sax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sax has chosen Infected Mushroom - Smashing The Opponent as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lusitania takes the fight into the clinch.
Lusitania pushes off an throws an elbow but Sax leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Sax has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lusitania is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Lusitania misses with a knee to the head.
Sax is working for takedown but Lusitania is calmly controlling the position for now.
Lusitania stops a takedown attempt from Sax.
The King of Lusitania has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amin Sax.
Sax can't get the takedown.
Sax wants a takedown.
Sax is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lusitania gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Lusitania escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Lusitania throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sax was covering up waiting for the punch and Lusitania finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Sax is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lusitania is controlling him.

Lusitania wants to stand but Sax has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Lusitania wants to control from the top but Sax keeps moving.

The King of Lusitania has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Sax shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Sax is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Sax looks gassed!

Sax drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sax jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Sax drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lusitania looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lusitania looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lusitania!

Lusitania decides to stand back up.
Amin Sax seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lusitania closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sax did well to prevent Lusitania getting side control.

Lusitania is looking for a kimura here.
Sax is looking to escape.

Lusitania wants to stand but Sax has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Lusitania is working for a kimura but Sax is defending it quite comfortably.
Lusitania seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sax does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Lusitania is pressing down on Sax's thigh, looking to free his foot. Sax is holding on for now.

Sax kicks off Lusitania and gets to his feet.

Sax shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lusitania manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Lusitania has his foot on Sax's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sax works his way back into a safe position though.

Lusitania is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sax defends well.

Sax stands and steps away. Lusitania gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Sax postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lusitania is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sax, into his guard.

Lusitania is sitting in close to Sax's body. Sax has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Lusitania is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Lusitania is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Sax.
