The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
HATFIELD throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Munster.
HATFIELD throws a head kick that Munster semi-blocks.
Munster keeps the fight on the outside.
HATFIELD keeps Munster at a distance using the push kick.
Munster takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Munster blocks a head kick by HATFIELD.
HATFIELD stuffs the takedown attempt from Munster. Munster gets slowly back to his feet.

Munster shoots in for a takedown but HATFIELD shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

HATFIELD wants to stand and escape but Munster is having none of it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

HATFIELD tries to lock up and control but Munster gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

and HATFIELD counters with a big head kick but Munster shrugs it off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and HATFIELD makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Munster really felt that one!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
