The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hanks tries to bum rush Drake with a series of wild strikes but Drake uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hanks swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hanks fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Drake takes the fight into the clinch. Drake tries to work over Hanks's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Hanks blocks a body shot from Drake. Hanks lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Drake misses with a punch on the inside.

Drake slips a jab and a cross from Hanks.
Hanks drops Drake with a beautiful combination! Drake stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hanks is looking for the KO!

It looks like Marcus Drake has been cut. Hanks cracks Drake with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Drake tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Hanks pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Drake is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
