Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dog Alpha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Steele's choice of entrance music: The Terminator Theme. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dog Alpha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jason Steele! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alpha moves into range and clinches up with Steele. Alpha stalls. Steele wants to break the clinch but can't.
Alpha fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Alpha keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Steele's efforts to push away. Steele prevents a body shot from Alpha. Alpha working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Steele's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Alpha wants to clinch but Steele slips to the side and Steele counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Alpha throws a shot from downtown. Steele moves away and avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alpha wants to clinch and Steele counters with a straight right hand. Steele throws a big shot that misses.

Alpha wants to clinch but Steele slips to the side and Steele counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Steele. Alpha is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Steele is controlling him. Steele throws and elbow that misses. Alpha uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Steele's guard. Nice move by Alpha! Steele is looking for a triangle here but Alpha uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Steele is squirming around, avoiding Alpha's attempts to control the action. Steele is trying to escape the mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alpha tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Steele is desperately trying to improve his position but Alpha has a good base and remains in mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Alpha trying to control but he's not successful this time. Alpha looking to control and managing it successfully. Steele really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

and Steele counters with a stiff right hand. Alpha moves to clinch but Steele breaks away and Steele counters with a one-two to the body. Alpha throws a hook to the side of Steele's head but Steele sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Alpha stuffs the takedown attempt from Steele. Steele gets slowly back to his feet. Dog Alpha is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Alpha cracks Steele with an open hand slap. Alpha tries to clinch and Steele counters with a lovely shot to the body. Dog Alpha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Steele misses with an uppercut
and Alpha counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alpha tries to clinch but Steele moves away and Steele counters with a stiff right hand. Steele throws a left and a right that both miss
and Alpha counters with a series of strikes. Steele will be more careful next time no doubt. A swing and a miss from Steele. Alpha fails with an attempt to clinch.
Alpha lands with an overhand left. Alpha tries to clinch up and Alpha takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Alpha throws a lazy uppercut
and Steele makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Alpha wants to clinch but Steele slips to the side and Steele counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Alpha tries to clinch up letting Steele counter with a right hand. Alpha closes the distance but Steele moves to the side and Steele counters with a takedown into side control. Steele lands an elbow. Steele throws an elbow but Alpha slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steele is chipping away with strikes.

He's worked his way up against the cage but Steele has just dragged him back down to the mat. Steele throwing strikes but Alpha manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Alpha gets to mount! Steele was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Steele is trying to escape the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alpha controlling the position easily from mount. Alpha looking to control but Steele is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Steele tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jason Steele will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Alpha wants to clinch and Steele counters with a straight right hand. Steele throws a good cross that connects.
Steele is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Alpha takes one to the chin there. Alpha misses with a right hand letting Steele counter with a right hand. Steele throws the left hand but Alpha avoids the punch easily. Alpha closes the distance but Steele moves to the side and Steele makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steele has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Alpha. Alpha tries to clinch but fails miserably and Steele counters with a stiff right hand. Alpha wants to clinch and Steele counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Alpha tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Steele counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Steele lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Alpha backs up against the cage.

and Alpha counters with a good low kick that Steele was not able to check.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alpha moves to clinch but Steele breaks away and Steele connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Alpha shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Steele throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Alpha closes the distance looking to clinch and Steele counters with a right hand to the body. Alpha misses with a body shot
enabling Steele to counter with a crisp jab.
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Steele comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Steele has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
