The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doji on the wrong end of a nice jab.

It looks like Awekome Doji has been cut.

Light fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Doji sprawls well initially but Light persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Light works his way into side control.
Light trying to control the position but Doji is working away.
Light postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Doji defending against the ground and pound.
Doji prevents Light from moving into mount.

Light tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Light in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Doji is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
