Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fergal Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fergal Rock has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrew Thomas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Fergal Rock! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas is looking to clinch but Rock is avoiding it.
Rock gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Rock changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thomas tries to avoid it but Rock manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thomas to the ground. Thomas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Thomas doesn't manage to clinch there - Rock circles away.
Rock closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Rock is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Thomas doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rock. Thomas tries to get to full guard but Rock has control of the leg. Thomas is trying to stand back up but Rock is controlling him
Rock is looking for a kimura here.
Rock prevents Thomas from improving his position. Rock looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Thomas has one foot on Rock's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Fergal Rock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. A combination from Thomas does no damage. Thomas misses with a double jab.
A combination from Thomas does no damage. Thomas throws a right hand that Rock ducks under and follows up with a left that Rock also avoids with ease. Rock will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rock keeps the fight on the outside. Thomas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rock shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Thomas as he jumps to the side. Andrew Thomas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fergal Rock. Thomas throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Rock looks gassed! Thomas throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Thomas throws a right and a left that both miss. Thomas looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Thomas feints and as Rock raises his hands in defense, Thomas changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Thomas wants to stand but Rock is controlling his posture from full guard. Rock looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Thomas with a flurry of punches that miss. Rock working for submissions but it's allowed Thomas to get to half guard.
Rock on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rock manages to get to full guard.
Rock looking for a triangle here. Thomas is fighting it but it looks tight! Rock pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Thomas is tapping out - this one is all over!
