Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Partridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Partridge! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice jab there from Jackson. Partridge will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Partridge dodges the punch combination from Jackson.
Partridge scores with a hook. Jackson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Partridge throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jackson throws a right and a left that both miss. Jackson drives through and clinches with Partridge against the cage.
Partridge has Jackson pressed against the cage, preventing Jackson from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Partridge tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jackson smiles and moves away.
Jackson tries to bum rush Partridge with a series of wild strikes but Partridge uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A head kick misses from Jackson. Jackson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Frank Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Partridge. Partridge shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jackson defends it nicely. Jackson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Partridge. Jackson cracks a nice hook into Partridge's ribs. Partridge looks gassed! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jackson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Jackson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jackson wanted to stand there but Partridge had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson trying to control but Partridge is working from the bottom. Jackson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Partridge's guard. Partridge keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully. Jackson wants to stand but Partridge has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Jackson tries to free his leg and advance position but Partridge is retaining full guard. Jackson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jackson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jackson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A left and a right from Jackson both land. Nice combination.
Partridge is rocked! Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Partridge is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him? Partridge bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Jackson comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Partridge falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Partridge was out before he hit the floor!
