Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dean Reed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Miguel Salazar!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salazar misses with a series of wild punches.
Reed fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Salazar avoids it really well and circles away.
Reed jabs Salazar to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Reed shoots for a double leg takedown but Salazar sprawls well. He's pushed Reed's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Reed cracks a nice hook into Salazar's ribs.
Salazar looks gassed!
Reed feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Reed works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Reed is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Salazar!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Salazar takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Reed scoring with strikes but Salazar is staying in there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reed working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Reed working the ground and pound effectively.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Reed! Salazar is hurt baaadly! Reed is firing away with more strikes - Salazar is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
