Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Ang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randall Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ang's entrance music is Long Way To The Top. A fine choice. Harris has chosen Deep End as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Randall Harris enters the cage!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randall Harris!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Harris tenderised Ang's leg. Ang is trying to keep his angry face on.
Good standup being displayed there by Ang as he connects with a hook.

Harris forces Ang back against the cage and clinches.

Harris pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ang fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Harris manages to avoid it.

Ang lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Harris backs up against the cage.

Ang shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Some bone on bone action there as Ang checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Ang is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Ang throws a right and a left that both miss.
Harris tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Harris throws a push kick but Ang slaps the foot to one side.
Harris keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Ang counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Ang jabs Harris to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Harris tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Harris counters with a head kick. That will keep Ang thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Harris darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Harris throws a solid leg kick but Ang takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Harris.
Ang on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Harris pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ang stalks Harris and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Harris's face. Harris staggers backwards, shaken.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Randall Harris will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

It looks like Randall Harris has been cut.
Rodney Ang is winning the standup battle so far.
Harris checks a low kick from Ang.
Harris goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Harris gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ang accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Harris looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ang is one step ahead there.
Ang slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Ang throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Ang is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Ang trying to control the position from guard on top but Harris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Harris is on top in guard.

Ang looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Harris has picked Ang up and slammed him! Ang can't keep hold of the triangle and Harris manages to pass to side control!

Harris decides to stand back up. Harris steps back and let's Ang get back to his feet.

Ang throws a nice looking combination but Harris bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ang misses with the combination.
Harris looks to score with a jab to the body but Ang is just out of range.
Harris cracks the inside of Ang's front leg.
Rodney Ang is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Harris feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ang's calf.
Nice takedown defense from Harris. No joy for Ang on that attempt.

and Harris counters with a body kick that stops Ang in his tracks momentarily.
Ang is looking to wear down Harris with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Harris will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rodney Ang will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Harris connects with a leg kick. Ang looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Ang shoots for a double leg takedown but Harris sprawls well. He's pushed Ang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ang throws a body punch but Harris moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harris lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Good leg kick by Harris there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Ang shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Harris sprawls well. Harris wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ang gets slowly back to his feet.

Randall Harris comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Harris has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
