Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marins throws a jab but it's blocked by Garciaz.
Garciaz looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Marins feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Marins controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Marins's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Joaquin Marins has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Marins swings for the body but Garciaz moves out of range.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Marins throws a looping overhand right but Garciaz ducks down to avoid it.
Garciaz gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Marins to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Garciaz can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Marins controls the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marins pushing down on Garciaz's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Marins with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Marins seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Garciaz is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
