Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zucki Lambda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peras Pounder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lambda thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Pounder if he has to take too many more of those.

Lambda closes the distance and pushes Pounder back into the cage.
Pounder misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lambda.
Lambda tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pounder smiles and moves away.
Lambda shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pounder pinned against the cage. Pounder gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Pounder sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Lambda is wriggling around trying to escape.

Pounder is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lambda can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Pounder is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Lambda is surviving well by controlling Pounder's body position as best he can.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Pounder is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Lambda defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Lambda fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pounder manages to avoid it.

Pounder working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lambda doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Pounder is tightening it up a little... Lambda has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Lambda reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Lambda taps out! nice BJJ there by Pounder!
