Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cake Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Demar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cake Jr could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mark Demar's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cake Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Demar! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jr misses with a few strikes there.
Jr scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Demar doesn't seem bothered though. Demar has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. No luck for Demar with that takedown attempt. Jr gets a clinch. Jr scores with a shot to the side of Demar's head. Jr jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Demar walks away with a smile on his face. Jr gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Jr shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Demar tries to keep at a distance but Jr has taken the fight into the clinch. Demar wants to break free but Jr has control.
Demar is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Jr is keeping busy. Jr scores with an uppercut up the middle. Jr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jr moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Demar fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jr is out of range. Demar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jr lands with a nice combination. Demar backs away looking to recover.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jr rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Demar moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jr throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Jr shoots in for a takedown but Demar shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cake Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Demar gets tackled into the cage by Jr. Jr maintains the clinch. A short body shot lands from Jr as the two fighters clinch.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Demar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jr looking for a sweep. Not yet Jr, not yet. Jr pulls Demar in close to his closed guard and prevents Demar from doing any damage or advancing position. Demar tries to free his leg and advance position but Jr is retaining full guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. Demar is pushing down on Jr's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jr is fighting to maintain full guard but Demar has managed to sneak the leg through. Jr gets full guard. Jr managing to control the position. Demar preventing the sweep. Jr is working hard here to advance position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jr pulls Demar in close to prevent any damage. Jr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Demar on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Cake Jr. Jr closes the distance and clinches. Jr throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Demars head. Jr pushes Demar back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Jr lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Jr wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Demar has him pressed against the cage. Jr pushes Demar back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jr pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jr unloading with bombs! Jr lands a big shot there that rocks Demar but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Cake Jr dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Demar is not content to let Jr control the position. Jr is nestled in close to Demar, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jr is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Demar can do to turn this around? Demar is refusing to be controlled, as Jr sits in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
