Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Face CopKiller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cine Sinister! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! CopKiller closes the distance and clinches up with Sinister, looking for a takedown. CopKiller pushes Sinister against the cage but Sinister circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. CopKiller throws a head kick but Sinister moves out of range.
CopKiller thows a left - swing and a miss! Sinister closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sinister lands in his opponent's guard. Sinister looking to pass the guard. CopKiller can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sinister controls the pace. CopKiller keeping full guard, as Sinister tries to pass. CopKiller is trying to control the position but Sinister postures up. CopKiller looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sinister chips away with some ground and pound. CopKiller tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sinister postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sinister is looking to work some ground and pound but CopKiller has wrist control. Sinister trying to control but CopKiller is working from the bottom. CopKiller working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sinister. Sinister trying to control the position from guard on top but CopKiller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sinister thows a big elbow that misses. Sinister advances position into side control!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sinister crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from CopKiller - the referee stops the clock and Sinister gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says CopKiller. Sinister manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. CopKiller throws a body punch but Sinister moves out of range. Sinister throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. CopKiller was covering up waiting for the punch and Sinister finishes the takedown easily into guard. Sinister lands a couple of elbows. Sinister slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Sinister missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sinister throws a strike but CopKiller rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sinister can do anything to dispel that myth. Sinister looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Sinister bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in CopKiller's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sinister controlling from the top position. CopKiller avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. CopKiller avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sinister is looking to work some ground and pound but CopKiller has wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. CopKiller controls Sinister momentarily but Sinister frees himself. Cine Sinister dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Sinister looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for CopKiller! Sinister lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Sinister looking to control but CopKiller is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. CopKiller tries to hold on but Sinister pushes him away. Sinister scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish CopKiller?
Sinister is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But CopKiller has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from CopKiller! CopKiller postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sinister is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of CopKiller, into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sinister wants to control from the top but CopKiller keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. CopKiller preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Sinister trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Sinister throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. CopKiller preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Sinister closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. CopKiller tries to bench press Sinister off him but Sinister keeps the position. Sinister lands some shots froms side control. CopKiller struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sinister taking a break here but CopKiller is having none of it and regains half guard. CopKiller is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Sinister scores with a couple of nice shots. Sinister thows a huge punch but CopKiller dodges it nicely.
Sinister is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. CopKiller doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sinister. Sinister looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. CopKiller has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sinister is working away from the top position though. Sinister winds up and cracks CopKiller with a swinging punch to the side of the head. CopKiller keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sinister takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Sinister sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. CopKiller defending well though. Sinister looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks CopKiller with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cine Sinister showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

CopKiller is trying to maintain the position but Sinister is very close to passing his half guard. Sinister controlling the action here. CopKiller wants to control but Sinister is keeping busy and won't allow it. Sinister works his way into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sinister is trying to ground and pound but CopKiller uses the momentary lack of control by Sinister to regain half guard. Sinister wants to pass the guard but CopKiller is defending well. CopKiller moves into full guard.
Sinister postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. CopKiller throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. CopKiller avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sinister forces his way into half guard. Sinister scoring with strikes to the body and head. Sinister seems to be working for a kimura but CopKiller defends the submission attempt. Sinister not landing any meaningful shots this time. Sinister lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

CopKiller is staying active underneath Sinister, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Sinister seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead CopKiller has recovered full guard. CopKiller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sinister pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. CopKiller is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. CopKiller avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sinister trying to control but CopKiller is working from the bottom. Sinister stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. CopKiller swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cine Sinister is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A chopping leg kick lands by CopKiller. CopKiller throws a looping overhand right but Sinister ducks down to avoid it. A solid leg kick lands there for CopKiller.
CopKiller has his takedown stuffed and Sinister decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in CopKiller's guard. Face CopKiller has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cine Sinister has got the better of the ground game so far. Sinister seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Cine Sinister comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Sinister winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
