Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Larkin but Larkin pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Larkin wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nice body punch from Larkin.
Romanov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Romanov shoots in and bounces Larkin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Larkin cracks Romanov with a right hand to the side of the head.
Romanov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Larkin leaves Romanov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Larkin shoots in and bounces Romanov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Romanov has his hands on Larkin's head, controlling the position.
Larkin controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Larkin postures up and lands a big shot to Romanov's brow.
Larkin wants to pass the guard but Romanov is keeping the position.
Larkin slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Larkin remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Larkin lands a decent elbow from side control.
Larkin is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Romanov has escaped the position, nice work there.
Larkin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Larkin works to advance to full mount. Romanov defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Larkin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

BOOM! Larkin connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Larkin wants to finish this one by submission but Romanov is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Larkin.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Romanov misses with a takedown attempt
and Larkin counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Larkin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Romanov was covering up waiting for the punch and Larkin finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Larkin stands up over Romanov, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Larkin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Larkin working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Romanov's head.
Romanov is breathing heavily.
Larkin passes into half guard.

Larkin is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Shawn Larkin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Larkin maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Romanov could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Larkin has cracked it and Romanov is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Larkin!
