Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Fournier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fournier kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is L.L.Cool J - Mama said knock you out. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacques Fournier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Raul Santiago! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fournier throws a body punch but Santiago moves out of range. Fournier is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Fournier misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Santiago takes one on the button. Santiago misses the shot to the body. Santiago lands with a hook. Fournier tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Jacques Fournier has been cut. Santiago bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Santiago looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Fournier! Santiago wants to finish this one by submission but Fournier is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Santiago. Santiago looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Fournier not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Fournier's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Santiago can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fournier controls the pace. Fournier has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Raul Santiago dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jacques Fournier's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Santiago moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Fournier throws a lazy right hand but Santiago sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Fournier lands with a nice combination. Santiago backs away looking to recover. This has been an exciting period of action! Fournier slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Santiago ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Fournier throws a predictable looking body shot
and Fournier takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Fournier lunges at Santiago with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Santiago's hand. Fournier will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fournier is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Santiago. Fournier cracks Santiago with a good jab. Santiago punishes Fournier's body with a nice straight punch. Fournier will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A jab from Fournier finds it's way through Santiago's defenses. Santiago looks to score with a jab to the body but Fournier is just out of range. Santiago cracks Fournier with a good jab. Fournier throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

The fight stays on the outside here - Santiago looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Fournier takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Santiago goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Fournier turns into him and now he's in Santiago's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fournier controlling from the top position. Fournier looking to sit in guard and control but Santiago gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Fournier seems keen to control Santiago's posture. Fournier controls Santiago momentarily but Santiago frees himself. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jacques Fournier will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jacques Fournier's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
